Over the course of her career, Kate has spearheaded campaigns for international clients, entrepreneurial brands, and local gems. She has worked with global, national, regional, and local media across print, digital, social, and broadcast platforms.
Formerly in New York City, Kate began her public relations career at Ralph Lauren, where she worked in the Womenswear department. She then transitioned to the agency side, leading communications for a diverse portfolio of clients across lifestyle, design, and hospitality.
While at Paul Wilmot Communications, Kate’s clients included American Ballet Theatre, Oscar de la Renta, and UNICEF among others. Later, as a Senior Vice President of the award-winning Meg Connolly Communications, she worked with a range of premiere design and lifestyle brands including Saint-Louis, The Rug Company, Hermès, Christofle, Bronson van Wyck, Savoir Beds, Sant Ambroeus, and Puiforcat, as well as the following hotels, their restaurants and related amenities: St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, The Ritz- Carlton, Primland Resort, The Dewberry, Graduate Hotels, Playa Grande Beach Club, Faena Hotel Miami Beach, and Claridge’s, The Connaught, and The Berkeley in London.
Before establishing her own agency, Kate’s work in Upstate South Carolina at Hughes Agency included leading the launch of Hotel Hartness, a press campaign for Bon Secours Wellness Arena’s 25th anniversary, national media efforts for The Cliffs, the debut of AC Hotel Greenville, and the introduction of Abacus Capital’s vision to revitalize Hampton Station.
